Eskimo Brothers AC and Heating LLC

My AC went out on a day where temps were hitting triple digits. Brutal! I called multiple companies who advertised 24 hour service and only 2 returned my call (it was a Sunday morning). Not only did Eric from Eskimo Brothers call me back within 30 minutes, he was at my property to assess the situation by 10 AM that morning! Unfortunately when he arrived it was bad news, compressor was shot and a new unit was needed (he gave me multiple options but replacing the unit was the most reasonable for a 10+ year old unit). I decided to do my due diligence and had a second opinion which provided the same diagnosis, bad compressor, new unit needed. I received several quotes and I decided to go with Eskimo brothers and I’m glad I did! Eric scheduled me for the very next day at a very fair and reasonable price. Alex was my installer. Not only did he do an amazing job installing the unit, but you couldn’t ask for a nicer, more polite guy than him. He answered every question I had, a true professional. He sealed the deal on why I will stick with Eskimo brothers for any future AC needs or maintenance. If you need AC work done, look no further. Trust me.

It's always hard knowing if/when you can trust a company with your business. However Eskimo Brothers (Josh) made it really easy for me to make this decision. Having recently purchased our home in April/22, Eskimo Brothers called to advise they were under contract with the previous owner to service the existing unit and a free check up/service remained available and they were kind enough to offer it to us, so we scheduled the maintenance for the following month. When Josh arrived, I Immediately recognized and appreciated his down to earth demeanor. It quickly calmed the stereotypical thoughts most people have when a repairman is around. As he navigated his check list, I tagged along trying to learn quickly and without hesitation he explained everything I was curious about in a delightful manner. The visit was pleasant. Fast forward 12 months (April/24), it was time to replace the existing unit and their was no need to consider who I would trust with the job. Eskimo Brothers offered us competitive pricing with quality work (pics included). They installed a new unit/handler today. The job was completed in 4 - 5hrs by Alex. Eskimo Brothers is extremely professional, courteous, and fast to respond. We had a great a experience with them. When another company was trying to gouge us with their pricing, I asked my neighbor for a referral. He immediately recommended Eskimo Brothers who recently installed a new system in his home. Eskimo Brothers came to our home within a couple of hours of calling them and their pricing was much more affordable and reasonable.

Woke up this morning realizing our AC was clogged up again. My sister has a bad lung disease and this gentleman fit us in for this afternoon! He was very courteous, texted when he was on his way so communication was great and he fixed our AC so my sister now can breathe much easier. I would highly recommend this company and will continue to use them in our future! Thank you again for such quick service! ******** Adding to original review: Saturday night, the 29th of July, I noticed the AC was not blowing anything out again. So Sunday morning I texted the gentleman from the company and also sent in a request online for help because they had told me we have a 30 day guarantee on the work. I know it was a Sunday but it says open 24 hours online and I have not received any response via online or text at all. Not pleased with this. It should not have clogged up again within 2 weeks. I had another company come out and fix it so now once again the AC is working. I just am not pleased with this company giving no response.

On 8/10, I discovered my AC was blowing but not blowing cold air. Looked into it as far as I could and discovered that the condenser outside wasn’t working. I had already scheduled these guys to come out so when I saw this I sent a note of what I had observed. The guy comes out and verifies that there was a part needing to replace and he would replace it in the morning. System was working again by the time I get back home from work. Here we are 2 weeks later I had someone else come out as my system isn’t cooling as it should AGAIN. The next guy does a not thorough analysis. After I explained what had happened prior with having the part be replaced, he instructs me to set the systems to their coldest setting. Then checks the same system outside and within a minute was telling me my lines were freezing and it means either a leak or an issue with the engine inside. Those white pipes in the picture are actually black. It was completely frozen bro. We then go inside where he opens the system and confirms that it is also frozen. I’m getting my system repaired as I type this by another company because I’m pissed at their lack of attention to detail. They didn’t even look at the rest of the system (inside) to see what else might be going on. I gave them 2 stars for 2 reasons: 1) they did come out faster than anyone else was able to 2) they did what I would say is a partial repair of the system. I ended up buying a portable system for my bedroom because my wife and I were literally sweating in bed at night. I’d only consider giving them another shot in the future if I got a refund for the last service that I consider to be totally lacking.

Wyatt performed a routine check on my heating/cooling system. He took a picture of one part to show me it needed to be replaced, and we discussed the UV lamp and what should be done. A few days later, I heard what sounded like water from the condensate pump so he returned to double check that and explained the thermostat working during weather changes. I found Eskimo Brothers prompt for their appointment, and willing to double check the system on the items I didn't understand. Reliable, not pushy and overselling. Gladly give them 5 stars!

I used Ekimo Bro's bc my neighbor used them. I called them and 6 other AC companies for estimates. I was impressed bc they came out the same day to give me an estimate. They let me know when they were about 10 minutes away from showing up. Every other company I got estimates from took a week or more to get someone out to give me an estimate. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. They did inform me they probably won't be the cheapest but they won't be the most expensive. I will say out of the 6 estimates they came in 2nd from the lowest. I don't always go with the lowest price. I was impressed with their customer service and no pressure approach. One thing I look at is if a company talks bad about other companies. They absolutely did none of that. I was impressed at how soon they were able to come out to install my new Goodman AC + condenser and thermostat. They kept me in constant contact when they would be showing up. The install was surprisingly quick and clean. I'm extremely happy with the install. I can't even tell when my AC is on. That's how quiet it is. There was only one thing the county inspector pointed out. It was something as minor as a label in my breaker box. I don't really think that's their fault. My house was a flip and the previous owner didn't label the breaker box correctly. Eskimo Bro's came out and updated it and everything is good to go. I also love how they are a small family owned business. I seriously think that if you want a new AC or any work done Eskimo Bro's is the company you need to use. I would highly recommend them. Thanks again to Eskimo Bro's for a beautiful new AC. I will only be using them for any future AC needs and be telling all my friends and family that need AC work done. Thanks again!
